About Elizabeth
As a true artist, my mind is constantly flowing with new ideas, and living in Maine provides many long winter months during which I create most of my new illustrations for the year. My passion and dedication to my drawings has never wavered and I still imagine each concept in my head and draw every original illustration by hand.
My road to developing my own business was full of unexpected twists and turns. What began as a small sketch and a few squares evolved into a wonderful way of life. After graduation with a BFA from the University of Rhode Island, I began creating note card designs and wholesaled them to retail stores throughout New England. I then designed for Renaissance Greeting Cards for several years and wasn't satisfied with the “drawing to order" process. What I found attractive were the Art shows. I enjoyed the travel, freedom, and interaction with the customers each weekend and today, art shows remain the backbone of my business.
As Transformations grows in popularity, I continue to create new products for my customers. Throughout the years I have kept my sense of humor and imagination at the core of all my illustrations.
