Mark Mowen

"I found a passion for leather while working as an apprentice at a leather shop in Akron, Ohio. I embraced the medium because leather was so different. There are no two leathers that are alike, from heavy hides for harness and belts, to soft and supple hides that add grace and elegance to our lives. I found myself intrigued the most by the beauty of leather in its most soft and supple form, and since 1972, Mowen Leather Designs has created graceful and elegantly designed bags that perform artistically, as well as functionally.
