Somerset Welcomes Sugarloaf Craft Festival

Arts and Crafts Show Comes to Garden State Exhibition Center

Somerset, N.J. (October 17, 2016) – The Garden State Exhibition Center will be buzzing with excitement this weekend as the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival comes to town. The festival arrives in Somerset, N.J. on Friday, October 21 for three days of high-end arts and crafts, master demonstrations and more in a celebration of the artistic community.

Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is one of the biggest arts and crafts shows in the United States, and this weekend’s show is a one-stop destination for anyone looking for fun things to do in Somerset. More than 250 professional independent artisans from throughout the country are expected, with handmade creations such as calligraphy illustrations, glass jewelry, designer belts, modern pottery and functional woodworking. Collectors and enthusiasts can outfit their wardrobe, find unique cookware, or get a great piece of artwork to display in their home.

Other activities promise to make the weekend a fun experience for the whole family. Watch live demonstrations by master craftspeople such as stoneware artist Alan Burselm or sculptor Marty Silverman. Stock up your pantry with items from specialty food vendors such as gourmet pretzels, artisan cheeses, dip mixes and real maple syrup. Middle Earth Studios will also be on hand with their interactive puppet show for children.
