Kimberly & Gladfelter
Hometown: Glenville, PA
Kim Gladfelter started her artistic career following 25 years working in health care. At her first craft show, she offered a variety of decorative items but quickly realized that her gourd art was the hands-down best seller.
She produces charming gourd Folk Art using gourds grown on her family farm. Her husband, Bob, tends the farm and helps her prep the gourds so they’re ready for painting.
Her gourd characters include traditional Santas, snow people, Halloween-inspired designs, barnyard chickens and many others. She uses acrylic paint, vintage tinsel, glitter and other accessories to create her designs.
Come say hello at Sugarloaf Craft Festivals and see Kim’s gourd-geous creatures!
