Timonium Fairgrounds Welcomes Sugarloaf Crafts Festival

Annual Fall Event Offers Unmatched Arts and Crafts Experience

Timonium, MD (September 30, 2016) – One of the most popular arts and crafts extravaganzas on the East Coast returns to the greater Baltimore area this weekend when Sugarloaf Crafts Festival visits the historic Timonium Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD, beginning this Friday, October 7. The exciting three-day event is a must for anyone who appreciates high-end arts and crafts or is looking for fun things to do in Timonium this fall.

More than 250 independent, hand-picked artisans from throughout the country will be on hand. Visitors can view, try out and purchase handmade contemporary clothing and fashion accessories, designer jewelry, carefully crafted oil paintings, wood sculptures, photography, specialty foods and much more. And at Sugarland Crafts Festival, each exhibitor can be found on the festival floor, answering questions from visitors and allowing them to get up close with their work for an immersive experience.

A number of other attractions promise to make this event fun for the whole family. Numerous master craftspeople will be on hand to give live demonstrations and workshops, including metal worker Carson Sams, broom maker Jeffrey Heilman and fine artist Cyndi Mylynne. Enjoy the musical stylings of acclaimed jazz duo The Jazz Lobsters or handpan player Janet Spahr, while Middle Earth Studios returns with their interactive costume theater for kids.

Be sure to check out the Sugarland Crafts Festival this Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9. Adult admission is just $8 online or $10 at the door, and tickets are good for all three days. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. Visit for more information or to order tickets.
