Independent Artisans Make Their Mark at Sugarloaf Craft Festivals
Annual Tour Offers Unique Opportunity for Artists and Craftspeople
Timonium, MD (September 30, 2016) – Sugarloaf Crafts Festival kicks off its Fall 2016 Tour this Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9 at the Timonium Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD. The three-day event brings independent artisans, collectors and enthusiasts together in the greater Baltimore area as part of one of the most respected arts and crafts festival series in the United States.
For more than 40 years, emerging and established artisans throughout the country have reaped the benefits of the Sugarloaf experience. Bringing the best in high-end, handmade arts and crafts together under one roof creates a unique opportunity for exhibitors and visitors alike. People of all ages and backgrounds will be on hand to view and purchase creations ranging from glass jewelry to functional pottery, offering exhibitors unmatched exposure for exhibitors to visitors from throughout the Eastern seaboard.
But Sugarloaf Craft Festivals are about more than just selling wares. With Sugarloaf’s “Meet the Maker” philosophy, artisans are out on the festival floor greeting visitors, telling their stories and even giving demonstrations of their work. This personal approach and creative spirit makes both exhibitors and enthusiasts feel like a part of the greater artistic community, and often leaves artists with new fans for life.
Since its founding, Sugarloaf festivals have helped launch the entrepreneurial careers of more than 100,000 independent artists and craftspeople, and hope to kick-start many more. If you’re looking to take your passion to the next level, exhibition slots are still available for the Fall 2016 Tour, beginning this weekend in Timonium.
